Early planning

Total Safety needs to works very closely with your company during the planning process of the Safety Day. Together with your HSE-personnel and the leadership team we plan and tailor the event.

Choosing a safety topics

Safety is a huge subject so in order to stay focused every Safety Day needs to have a theme. It might be the safety aspects of the coming season or maybe issues like CPR, Traffic safety, Illegal drug abuse, Home accidents,  Marine safety, Fire fighting or First aid topics.

Choosing a location

Total Safety has several locations to choose from to fit your company’s needs. Depending on the theme, season, number of visitors and your special needs we will provide the right in- or outdoor scene.

Internal info campaign

Total Safety will support you with ideas for your internal information campaign up until the event. Letters, e-mails, films via your intranet or a visit from one of our ambulance instructors

Management  ownership

We need to have your company’s leadership team on board the project from the first day. This is your day and after analysing different preparation models we clearly find that having the Managing Director or CEO as an active partner during the planning and on stage during the event gives a higher score.

Family and children

Safety at home is a family issue.

The main goal with the pedagogy within the Total Safety is to make people recognize a situation that might be dangerous. To achieve this we focus the overall theme and safety drills to reflect your every day life at home. When you realize that this might happen to me or my family it will change the way you think and react upon it.

There is no doubt that our attitude regading health, safety and environment is formed when we are young. During the HSE-Days that Total safety conduct our trainers are pleased to see that the children easily takes on this new knowledge and brings it back into their own home. After a HSE-Day arranged for ExxonMobil a young boy went home and did a complete safety inspection in the family’s house – it’s hard for his parents to neglect such enthusiasm.

By using professional instructors dressed in their everyday uniform and living dummies we are arranging authentic situations that bring out great enthusiasm from both adults and children.

We help the children building their first kite and even make sure they learn how to fly it.

Children require the very best instructors and a smooth ride in a rather loud vehicle.

Food

The ”H” for Health is an important part in the HSE-mindset. Good health is often closely related to fresh and nutritious food and during our Safety Days Total Safety  wants to focus on fruit and vegetables as a part of the complete health issue.

To help us do so we bring in some of the leading catering companies in the area where the Safety Day takes place. They will provide the visitors with healthy food during the entire event and also give the families some ideas on what they might start to eat at home.

Equipment

Total safety works with the local fire departments, hospitals, police and sea/air rescue force. This gives us access to the very latest in ambulances, helicopters and paramedic equipment.

Professional instructors

Being able to use professional staff and instructors is a unique and important part of Total Safety `s  success over the years. It gives us huge credibility and the feedback from the guests during the Safety Day is overwhelming.
